Lucifers Lodge combined indoor arena and stable complex

Project overview

Our client required a competition-sized indoor dressage arena, including perimeter safety kick rail and a multi-functional stable complex. The stables needed to allow for five stalls, a tack room, feed room, wash bay, machinery storage, and an undercover horse truck drive-through.

Challenges and solutions

We worked through the design process with our client, providing several 3D concept drawings to help visualization of the final result. When designing the Equinarail system, we needed to ensure the gates were wide enough for riding surface machinery for ease of ongoing maintenance.

To accommodate the complex stable fit out, we liaised with the fit out providers and incorporated internal posts into the structural design.
