Perry Demolition combined office and warehouse

Project overview

The owner of Perry Demolition initially contacted us to discuss building a new office and warehouse/workshop. Following this, TVD Group Builders contacted us as the commercial builder of the project to officially quote the design, construction, and installation of the building.

The client’s requirements were for a new premises that would include a stylish reception area with a double-storey void, a unique façade, and angled canopies including a deck. The warehouse/workshop area needed large openings for machinery access and a canopy for an extra weather-protected space.

Challenges and solutions

There were several design challenges on this project including complex detail work on the second story deck. This structure was designed on an angle and we had to work out how to make the structure act as a canopy cover over the walkway below as well as a deck to the second story.

We worked closely with TVD Group Builders on getting the front façade design correct with its large box surround. There was a lot of focus on ensuring the mezzanine was designed correctly to service our client’s needs both in the office and the warehouse.
