Challenges and solutions

A multi-storey building was proposed to take advantage of the surrounding views across the river and wetlands.

A few challenges were encountered including allowance for floor height thresholds between internal and external spaces on the subfloors and ensuring the lower-level support bracing didn’t interfere with the use of the open space beneath the first floor. However, these were overcome through careful collaboration between the architect and our internal structural design team.
