Our client contacted us to build a roof-only day yard cover that needed to be built over his existing day yards and horse shelter.  The day yard cover needed to allow for natural light and ventilation but also provide relief from hot temperatures in the summer.

Challenges and solutions

Our client wanted to install wall cladding in the future on one side of the building. To accommodate this, we included wall girts in the steelwork package that was constructed by our installers.  

As the day yard cover was proposed to be built over an existing horse shelter we had to ensure the new building was high enough to comfortably fit over the top.
